There are several theories why cats drink from anywhere but their own bowl. Third: for cats, stagnant water seems dirty, while running, murmuring water seems clean.

By the way, the water remaining in the upper “saucer” is quite enough for the cat to get drunk, even without turning on the drinker.
The “flower” in the center can be installed in three positions of different heights or not installed at all, the height of the fountain will depend on this. In the instruction, the operating modes are called as follows: source; source + waterfall; spring + seething waterfall.
According to the recommendations of veterinarians, the water for the cat should be boiled or filtered. The manufacturer recommends changing the water in the drinker at least once a week, completely washing the fountain at least twice a month, and changing the filter monthly. I would like to note the convenient height of the drinker – the animal does not need to bend low. My cat is a spinal cat, and it is much more convenient for him to drink from a high drinking bowl.
